My name is Carina Ihlström Eriksson and I work as an assistant professor in Informatics at Halmstad University.

I am lab leader for MI-lab, IDE, Halmstad University.

I am currently Research Director for Center of Innovative IT-use (CIIT) and program manager for the Media IT research group. We are currently involved in three research projects; Designing Ubiquitous Media Services through Action Research, Intelligent Tourism and Secure at home - Living Lab.

I defended my Pd.D. theis September 29th, 2004 at Viktoriasalen in Göteborg (more photos). Opponent was Professor Carolyn Watters from Dalhouise University, Canada. The committee consisted of Professor Carsten Sø rensen, London School of Economics, Professor Nils Enlund, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm and Professor Jeremy Rose, Aalborg University. The title of my thesis is The Evolution of a New(s) Genre  (Swedish abstract).
